Horticulture Club The mission is to beautification of
inside and outside the school. To
improve the school environment
with trees, grass and flowers. Work
with students and staff to motivate
them to enjoy gardening and to have
a positive attitude toward
agriculture practices.

School Gardens Ms. Williams  
Hydroponics Club The hydroponic program is STEM
based. Students will create an irrigation
system that will propel nutrients for
plants, without the use of soil, with
water that circulates i a closed hydro
system. Students will focus primarily on
shallow root system plants such as leafy
vegetables and annual herbs.

students interested in the arts so
that they can support each other in
their artistic pursuits. The Mural Club
will work the Senior Class Mural.

Drama Club
The PHS Players directly respond to the
increased need for created written works
that will create memories of the present
and embraceable dreams of the future for
the students and staff of African,
Caribbean and Latin descent at Plainfield
High School. In turn, this improves the
services provided by myself and the
administration’s abilities to educate the
student/staff body and preserve African/Caribbean/Latin-American history
and culture. The club not only benefits
PHS, but directly impacts the community
it serves.

Robotics Club Plainfield High School has participated in
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition
of Science and Technology) since 1997.
The team vision is to give minority
students an opportunity to explore and
establish lifelong STEAM careers that
promote local and global collaboration for
a better society. Our mission is to give
back to our community and help foster
the next generation of FIRST Robotics
team members who continue our legacy
of helping others.

The National Honor Society The National Honor Society (NHS) is
a nationwide organization for high
school student in the United States
and outlining territories. Selection is
based on four criteria: scholarship,
leadership, service and character.
