Dear Plainfield High School Students, Staff, and Families,
Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you rested, recharged, and ready to embark on an exciting second half of the school year. As we step into 2025, I am filled with gratitude for the dedication of our staff, the resilience of our students, and the unwavering support of our families. Together, we continue to make Plainfield High School a thriving hub of academic achievement, personal growth, and community spirit.
This year, we’ve already accomplished so much, and there’s still so much to look forward to! Academically, our students will dive deeper into their coursework, preparing for milestones such as AP exams, college applications, and culminating projects that showcase their hard work and knowledge. Socially, we are excited to continue fostering connections through clubs, events, and leadership opportunities that encourage collaboration and build lasting friendships. Emotionally, we remain committed to supporting the well-being of every member of our community, ensuring that each student feels valued, heard, and empowered to succeed.
As we look ahead, let us keep our focus on excellence and our goals within reach. The second half of the school year brings opportunities to celebrate our growth, reflect on our achievements, and tackle challenges with renewed determination. Whether it’s excelling in the classroom, performing on stage, competing on the field, or contributing to the community, I encourage all of you to take pride in your efforts and celebrate your journey.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our teachers and staff, who continue to inspire and guide our students toward their brightest futures. To our families, your partnership is invaluable, and your encouragement makes all the difference. And to our students—you are the heart of our school. Keep striving, keep dreaming, and keep building a legacy of excellence.
Let’s make the remainder of this school year our best yet. Together, we are Cardinal Strong, and together, we will soar.
Warm regards,
Shadin Belal, Ed.D.
